website updated
Just a quick update. I've updated the website with a new page for the blog, A couple of new links to friends on the web and a little more integration for social networking. Is there serious value to social networking links on websites or is it just another way for us to waste time pretending we're working.... Either way please become a "fan"
First shoot for a new client
I did my first days shoot for a new client yesterday always a nerve racking experience. Especially given that their isn't much to their product from an aesthetics point of view. Not that their product is ugly (frantically digging myself out of a hole) Its just their product is designed to not be seen by the general public even though you probably come into contact with a "memco" every day of the week. Its that little black strip in a lift door that tells it not to close on you as you walk in. Massively important but unseen by the masses. From a creative point of view an interesting challenge. Their product range is around five foot long and made of black plastic, if you just shot them flat on white they'd look nothing special so what do u do with something like that.... Well with out a designer to prod me in a particular direction I decided it was worth looking at the design behind their logo. Chevrons in tones of blue. I think my images reflect that to a certain degree.
Well the shoot went well client my seemed happy with their images. Fingers crossed its the start of a beautiful working relationship and a financially rewarding one to.
